Kansas client was charged with possession of CS stemming from an arrest during a traffic stop. A disposition was negotiated that kept any record of the charge off of client’s permanent record, although there was a two (2) year term of supervised probation to be served. After six (6) months motion for early release from probation was filed and granted. Client was released and was able to avoid serving approximately eighteen (18) months of probation
The client was charged with DWI and resisting arrest. We fought to prevent consequences of the DWI from causing long-term damaging consequences. We litigated the case up to when it was set for trial. The charges were dismissed on the date of the trial setting, as a result of a motion to dismiss charges filed by Attorney Crawford on behalf of the client which challenged the admissibility of several key items of evidence the prosecution intended to rely on at trial.
The vehicles owned by Client A and Client B were totally destroyed when a semi-truck, without authorization, entered into a private parking lot, attempted to turn around, and drove into each of the vehicles owned by Client A and Client B. Both were totally destroyed. Clients were left without transportation to and from work, while the trucking company was refusing to fairly and fully compensate clients for the damages. Both clients hired Attorney Crawford to handle their claims, and deal with the trucking company. Due to the trucking company’s unwillingness to fully compensate the Clients for the damages suffered, a Petition for Damages was filed on behalf of the clients in Johnson County, Kansas District Court, where recovery for attorney’s fees and full damages were sought. The trucking company subsequently settled the claims and compensated the clients appropriately for their damages.
Client was charged with multiple counts of statutory sodomy in the first degree. After a hard fight to uncover the truth, and months long battle over discovery the charges were dismissed before it ever went to trial.
Client charged with 2nd degree murder and armed criminal action in Jackson County, Missouri Circuit Court. After a five day jury trial which included a thorough presentation that client acted in self-defense, client was found NOT GUILTY of all charges.
Client charged in Clay County Circuit Court with felony domestic assault. Charges dismissed. At preliminary hearing effective objections were made in client’s defense. Judge ruled that the state did not present sufficient evidence to support a finding of probable cause, and the case was dismissed prior to trial.
